You won’t find snow-capped trees and below zero temperatures in Athens in December, but Christmas festivities and events will be taking place everywhere around the city, giving its residents and visitors the chance to do their shopping and have fun while exploring its urban landscape under the warm Athenian sun.
One of my favourite happenings is the 10-day ARTemisiou Walk event starting today in the neighbourhood of Kerameikos!
Last week I spent an afternoon shopping spree in Artemisiou Street, buying unique jewellery with a cutting-edge aesthetic and gifts for my family and friends at Syn Apeiro, finding the perfect dress for the upcoming Christmas parties at the atelier of Greek designer Crochelle and having a glass of wine at Favela Bar Restaurant.
Calliope, Maria and Dimitris-owners of the three small businesses of Artemisiou Street – will be holding crafting project events, swing parties and live gigs for the next 10 days (Thursday 10th to Sunday 20th December) and will be waiting for you to discover Artemisiou Street!
All you have to do is Follow the Snowflakes at the ARTemisiou Walk and make Christmas 2015 the best holiday season! Find out about all the different events that will be taking place in Artemisiou Street, here.
